Spaghetti Sauce

1 lbs ground beef
1 large or 2 small onions
2 cloves garlic
2 28oz cans plum tomatoes
1 680ml can tomato sauce
1 5.5oz can tomato paste
1 green pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
5-6 sun dried tomatoes (reconstituted and chopped)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
Ground pepper to taste
1/3 tsp cinnamon
1/4 – 1/2 cup red wine (if available)
  1. Brown beef with onion and garlic cloves
  2. Add plum tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste
  3. Add green pepper, mushrooms, and sun dried tomatoes
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and cinnamon
  5. Bring to boil and reduce heat and simmer
  6. Add red wine (if available)
