4 whole chicken breasts (or thighs)
1/2 cup melted butter
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp thyme
1 lemon, unpeeled, thinly sliced
- Halve chicken breasts and arrange in 9×13 shallow buttered baking dish
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and thyme
- Pour melted butter over all
- Arrange lemon slices on top of chicken to cover all pieces
- Cook uncovered for 1 hour at 350
