4 cups (800g pkg) white pea beans
5 strips bacon chopped

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- Soak beans in 12 cups cold water over night, drain
- Large slow cooker stir together beans, 5 cups cold water, bacon, onion, salt and pepper, and ginger
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours
- Stir in chili sauce, condensed soup, ginger, and molasses
- In small bowl whisk flour with 1/4 cup water
- Gradually stir into bean mixture
- Cover and cook 15 minutes or until slightly thickened
