Caramel Corn

1 hour

7 qts popped corn
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

  1. Preheat oven 250
  2. Boil sugar, margarine, syrup, and salt together for 5 minutes
  3. Remove from heat, add baking soda and vanilla
  4. Mix well and pour over popped corn
  5. Toss until well coated
  6. Place in large roasting pan and bake for 1 hour
  7. Stir every 5 minutes
