Cranberry Mulling Syrup

2 9.7 oz cans frozen cranberry juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
Zest of one orange
Zest of one lemon
3 2″ cinnamon sticks
20 whole cloves
1 tsp whole all spice
2 1/4 cups water
  1. In large sauce pan, over high heat, combine all ingredients
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to dissolve sugar
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes
  4. Strain into clean bottles and seal tightly
  5. Can be refrigerated for up to 6 weeks
  6. Makes 5 cups
