450g fettuccine
1 tbsp butter
250g fresh baby shrimp
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 cup whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup parmesan cheese coarsely grated
4 tsp parmesan cheese coarsely grated
2 tsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- Cook fettuccine for 5-7 minutes, at same time:
- Gently saute shrimp in butter on medium heat for 1-2 minutes
- Add wine to shrimp and simmer on medium heat for 1-2 minutes
- Add cream and cook on medium heat until cream begins to bubble
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add fettuccine to sauce, toss and heat
- Gradually add parmesan cheese
- Toss and heat until melted
- Put fettuccine into warm serving bowl or on warm plates
- Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley
