Fettuccine with Shrimp

450g fettuccine
1 tbsp butter
250g fresh baby shrimp
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 cup whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup parmesan cheese coarsely grated
4 tsp parmesan cheese coarsely grated
2 tsp fresh parsley finely chopped

  1. Cook fettuccine for 5-7 minutes, at same time:
  2. Gently saute shrimp in butter on medium heat for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add wine to shrimp and simmer on medium heat for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add cream and cook on medium heat until cream begins to bubble
  5. Season with salt and pepper
  6. Add fettuccine to sauce, toss and heat
  7. Gradually add parmesan cheese
  8. Toss and heat until melted
  9. Put fettuccine into warm serving bowl or on warm plates
  10. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley
